Connect44 in Zürich, Switzerland, is seeking a determined IT Help Desk Support Engineer to join our team. You will provide workplace and user support, install and configure Windows and macOS, and troubleshoot desktops and office software to keep daily operations running smoothly.

The role covers AV and meeting room support, network and server room maintenance, onboarding of local users, and participation in IT projects. Fluent English is required; German is a plus. Permanent on-site position.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1–3+ years of hands-on IT desktop support and infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Windows/macOS OS, office software, and desk-side support.
• Understanding of LAN architecture and common network protocols (VLAN, STP).
• Experience configuring network hardware such as switches/routers; Cisco/Huawei preferred.
• Solid AV/meeting room maintenance knowledge.
• Scripting or basic programming (Python/Java) is a plus.
• Fluent English; Chinese preferred; German a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide workplace and user support, including OS installation/configuration and desktop troubleshooting.
• Manage office peripherals, printers, projectors, and IT accessories.
• Deliver basic IT onboarding and local user training.
• Inspect and maintain meeting rooms and AV equipment; support video meetings (on-site and remote).
• Monitor server room and IT network equipment; perform routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and configurations (VLAN/STP).
• Operate and maintain office security systems (optional).
• Assist in IT project deployment and office expansions; document network diagrams and assets.
