Connect44 GmbH is seeking a determined IT Help Desk Support Engineer to join our team in Zürich. This permanent role focuses on workplace support, AV/meeting room management, and basic IT infrastructure tasks.

You will handle OS installs, software support, peripheral devices, security systems, and contribute to network and server upkeep while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for staff and VIP meetings.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1–3+ years hands‑on IT desktop support, office network maintenance, and infrastructure operations.
• Troubleshooting laptop/desktop hardware, OS, and office software.
• Strong understanding of building-level LAN architecture and common network protocols (e.g., VLAN, STP).
• Experience configuring network hardware; familiarity with Huawei or Cisco equipment.
• AV/meeting room infrastructure experience is a plus.
• Scripting or basic programming (Python/Java) is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive workplace technology support to employees (Windows/macOS OS installation/configuration, office software).
• Manage office peripherals (printers, projectors) and perform daily maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Deliver basic IT onboarding and technical training for local users.
• Inspect and maintain meeting room AV equipment; monitor servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless APs.
• Provide VIP meeting technical support and assist in IT project deployment and go-live testing.
