Zusammenfassung

Excis is seeking a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to join our on-site Basel team. You will deliver end-user support, diagnose Windows/M365 issues, and manage assets while maintaining high SLA adherence, collaborating with IT services and networks teams.

German and English are required; 2+ years of tech support and an A+ certification are expected. Swiss work eligibility preferred. We offer a collaborative, growth-focused culture with opportunities to drive service improvements.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of technical support experience in fast-paced environments.
• A+ Certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Excellent customer service and VIP support skills.
• Experience supporting Windows-based environments (Windows 10/11, M365).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience supporting macOS and hybrid Windows/Mac environments.
• Experience with remote support tools (RDP, VNC, Apple Remote Desktop).
• Hands-on experience removing viruses/spyware and performing RCA.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
• Self-starter with proven ability to collaborate across teams.
• German language fluency required.

Aufgaben

• Deliver high-quality on-site support for end-users and VIPs, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop systems, printers, and operating issues.
• Manage incidents and service requests independently, from diagnosis to resolution.
• Support PC refresh activities: staging, deployment, data migration, decommissioning, and asset updates.
• Provide hands-on support for peripherals, printers, and AV/meeting room equipment.
• Act as hands-and-eyes for server and network teams.
• Maintain accurate asset records and documentation.
• Educate users on self-help tools and promote remote resolution to reduce dispatches.
• Collaborate with IT Services Data Center and Network Infrastructure teams.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade equipment and associated infrastructure.
• Respond to calls, emails, service tickets, and dispatched requests for technical support.
