BCIC Swiss in Basel is seeking an IT Support Specialist for an on-site, one-day visit arrangement in Switzerland. You will provide first- and second-level support, handle ticketing and user communications, and assist with hardware and software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include resolving Windows OS and Office issues, basic Mac support, printer and hardware maintenance, and coordinating with vendors for complex AV problems.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a valid work permit in Switzerland.
• Several years of experience in the IT field.

• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber.
• Support Mac OS for Apple PC users, and handle printers and hardware.
• Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS , Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber authorized .
• Should have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to support Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Performs remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
