The role

As an IT Application Project Manager, you will lead projects involving the implementation, evolution, migration or transformation of business applications.

You will act as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, IT teams, application owners, architects, developers and external partners.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Managing application projects throughout their lifecycle, from initial scoping to implementation and go-live.
• Defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones and roadmap.
• Coordinating business, functional and technical stakeholders.
• Working closely with Business Analysts and Product Owners to clarify requirements and priorities.
• Managing application implementation, migration, integration or upgrade initiatives.
• Coordinating development, configuration, testing and deployment activities.
• Planning and overseeing UAT and business acceptance.
• Managing project risks, issues, dependencies, budget and resources.
• Leading project meetings and steering committees and providing clear reporting to sponsors and senior management.
• Coordinating external vendors and ensuring delivery against agreed commitments.
• Supporting change management, communication and user adoption.
• Ensuring a smooth transition towards operational teams after go‑live.

Your profile

• Education: you hold a Master's degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
• Confirmed experience: you have between 5 and 10 years of experience managing IT application projects in complex environments.
• Methodologies: experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hermes or PRINCE2 is an asset.
• Application project expertise: you have experience in application implementation, migration, upgrade, integration and/or modernisation projects.
• End-to-end delivery: you are comfortable taking ownership of a project from initial framing through testing, deployment and go‑live.
• Stakeholder management: you are confident working with senior stakeholders, IT teams, business representatives and external suppliers.
• Strong governance skills: planning, budgeting, risk management, reporting and steering committees are familiar territory for you.
• Delivery-oriented leadership: you know how to structure complex projects, anticipate issues and keep teams focused on outcomes.
• Languages: excellent French and professional English are required.
• Consulting mindset: you are adaptable, pragmatic and comfortable quickly taking ownership in new client environments.
