Cerrion AG is hiring a Technical Support Engineer in Zurich to shape the support model from the ground up. You’ll be the go-to engineer for technical customer issues, combining networking knowledge with automation to prevent recurring problems and fix root causes.

The role blends customer interaction with hands-on troubleshooting for on-site and cloud systems, with a strong emphasis on reducing downtime and improving support processes. Office presence is expected in Zurich.

Qualifications

• Strong networking and security knowledge for production environments.
• Solid Linux and Docker proficiency; able to write basic Python scripts.
• Fluent English required; German or other languages are a plus.
• Zurich-based role with office presence expected; remote work possible occasionally.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to automate recurring tasks.

Responsabilités

• Handle customers’ technical issues as the first point of contact with the Customer Success team.
• Troubleshoot issues end-to-end, focusing on networks and remote hardware infrastructure.
• Monitor on-premises and cloud systems to ensure uptime and performance.
• Build automation to speed up support and reduce recurring tasks.
• Define and own Cerrion’s support metrics.
