Universität Zürich's Central IT, Workplace Services, seeks an ICT Supporter to assist with Windows workplaces, device lifecycles, and user support across departments. You will document solutions, assist rollouts and migrations, and help maintain IT infrastructure.

Central IT

The Central IT is the IT competence centre of the University of Zurich. The Workplace Services department develops and operates modern, cloud-based workplace solutions for various stakeholder groups of UZH.

ICT Supporter

• Support of IT concerns of the supported organisational units
• Setup and provision of IT workplaces for entries and exits
• Execution of software installations, updates and standardised system adjustments
• Management and maintenance of the supported workplace devices throughout their entire lifecycle
• Documentation of solutions, configurations and recurring support cases
• Support of users with questions about workplace systems and IT services
• Participation in rollouts, migrations and other IT projects in the workplace environment

Profile

• Completed training in the field of computer science, ICT or a comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge in the support of Windows workplaces and peripheral devices
• Experience in the operation and support of IT infrastructures as well as in error analysis and troubleshooting
• Strong service and customer orientation as well as enjoyment in direct contact with different stakeholder groups
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style as well as good communication and teamwork skills
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills
