Job summary

Adnovum is seeking an HR Operations Generalist in Zürich to manage day-to-day HR activities from onboarding to offboarding. You will be the first point of contact for HR matters, handle employee relations, apply Swiss law, and maintain accurate data in SAP.

You will collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and other People functions, supporting managers and employees across Swiss employment topics while benefiting from a flexible, hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in HR operations/administration or a comparable HR Generalist role in Switzerland.
• Practical knowledge of Swiss employment law and social insurance.
• Experience handling employee relations cases and meetings with employees and managers.
• HR qualification (Swiss HR-Fachausweis) is an advantage.
• Strong service orientation, communication, and discretion with confidential information.
• Structured, hands-on, independent working style with ownership and attention to detail.
• Experience with HR systems (SAP or SuccessFactors) and good MS Office skills.
• Very good German and English communication skills.

In this broad role, you will keep our day‑to‑day People operations running smoothly while supporting employees and managers across a wide range of HR topics. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Managing operational and administrative activities across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
• Supporting employees and managers as a first point of contact for People processes, policies and day‑to‑day HR matters
• Managing employee relations cases and conducting employee meetings, including supporting managers in challenging People situations
• Applying Swiss employment law and social insurance knowledge to day‑to‑day employee matters and escalating complex or high‑risk cases when needed
• Maintaining employee data in SAP and ensuring high data quality
• Supporting employees and managers with HR system‑related questions
• Maintaining People policies, guidelines and internal documentation
• Collaborating with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and other People functions to provide a seamless employee experience
• Supporting the Talent Acquisition team with selected hiring activities as needed and contributing to a positive candidate experience

What we’re looking for

• Several years of experience in HR operations, HR administration or a comparable HR Generalist role in Switzerland, combining operational responsibilities with direct employee support
• Practical knowledge of Swiss employment law and social insurance
• Experience in handling employee cases and conversations with employees and managers
• HR-specific qualification (i.e. Swiss HR-Fachausweis) is an advantage
• Strong service orientation, communication skills and discretion when working with employees, managers and confidential information
• Structured, hands‑on and independent working style with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
• Experience with HR systems, with SAP or SuccessFactors knowledge considered an advantage, as well as good Microsoft Office skills
• Very good German and English communication skills
