Job summary

Adnovum in Bern seeks an experienced software engineer to contribute to tailor-made solutions for public sector clients. You will analyze requirements, design, implement and maintain complex mobile and web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular/React/TypeScript, and modern deployment tools.

The role requires a university degree in computer science, several years of hands-on experience, and strong German and English communication.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science or similar.
• Several years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, JS Frontend Frameworks, state-of-the-art CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and cloud stack.
• Great interest in digitalisation of the public sector and in software project contexts.
• Enjoyment of and dedication in dealings with clients and colleagues.
• Determination and wit to contribute valuable ideas within the team and independently.
• Excellent command of German and English.

What we're looking for

• Knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and cloud stack
• Great interest in digitalisation of the public sector in order to find individual solutions, and in the broader technical and professional contexts in software projects
• Enjoyment of and dedication in your dealings with clients and colleagues, pleasure in providing sophisticated services in the consulting environment
• Determination and wit that let you contribute valuable ideas both within the team and while working on your own
• Excellent command of German mandatory, as well as English

For certain projects in the public sector, a personal security clearance (Personensicherheitsprüfung, PSP) conducted by Swiss federal or cantonal authorities may be required. Willingness to undergo this clearance is essential.
