Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to act as the central contact for customer orders from receipt through delivery. You will work across teams to ensure smooth order flow, accurate SAP processing, and proactive communication with customers.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Production Planning and Sales, with a focus on delivering excellent service in a dynamic environment. German and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Commercial or business qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in Customer Service, Order Management or Sales Support is advantageous.
• Fluent German and English; good communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Act as central contact for customer orders from receipt through delivery.
• Review, process and manage orders in SAP with workflow and master data maintenance.
• Coordinate with Production Planning and internal teams to optimize delivery schedules.
• Build strong customer relationships with proactive status updates.
• Handle order changes, clarify incomplete orders, and ensure accurate execution.
• Support credit blocks, overdue invoices and payment clarifications with relevant departments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Export, Production, Packaging, Quality on special projects and express shipments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
