Job summary

Swisslinx AG in Lausanne seeks a Head of IT Operations & Cybersecurity to lead global IT operations, infrastructure, networks and security. You will guide a diverse team and drive modernisation, governance and cost efficiency across cloud and on‑prem environments.

The role focuses on robust cyber resilience, strategic technology programmes and collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver high‑quality user experiences in a fast‑paced, international setting. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years IT experience, including at least 5 years in leadership and IT transformation.
• Proven experience leading IT Operations, infrastructure and cybersecurity in an international organisation.
• Strong leadership with experience managing geographically distributed teams.
• Track record in delivering IT transformation, infrastructure modernisation and continuous improvement.
• Solid knowledge of cloud and on‑premises infrastructure, networking and cybersecurity technologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Sentinel; familiarity with Zscaler and firewalls.
• Experience developing IT governance, security controls and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership across IT Operations and Cybersecurity.
• Lead and develop a team responsible for day-to-day IT operations and service delivery.
• Oversee modernisation of global IT infrastructure, networks and end-user technologies.
• Drive cybersecurity initiatives and risk mitigation across the organisation.
• Plan and deliver IT infrastructure, operations and cybersecurity projects within budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across regions to deliver technology solutions.
• Manage IT resources, budgets, personnel and external technology partners.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs and metrics to improve IT service delivery.
• Define and maintain global IT policies, standards and SOPs.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and cybersecurity threats.
