VIKING RIVER CRUISES Basel is seeking a Chef de Partie to join the galley team aboard our river vessels. You will prepare and serve meals for guests and crew in line with Viking standards and HACCP rules, reporting to the Executive Chef and Sous-Chef.

We value independence, guest focus, and the ability to work under pressure. English proficiency is required; international ship experience is a plus. Uniforms, lodging, and meals are provided on contract.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years in hotel, catering or restaurant settings.
• International or ship experience is an advantage.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and serve daily meals for crew and guests.
• Order and manage stock with the Executive Chef.
• Maintain HACCP-compliant clean working areas.
• Conduct stock takes and establish par levels.
• Assist in opening/closing ships and onboard training.
• Provide luggage duty on embarkation and disembarkation days.
