Hotel ODELYA in Basel invites a Front Office Employee to join our sustainable, warmly staffed team. You will welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out and ensure a smooth front-desk experience from first contact to departure.

We value hospitality training, at least two years at reception in upscale settings, and fluency in German and English. Protel knowledge and MS Office help you handle daily tasks confidently in a city hotel with green surroundings.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training in hospitality or tourism.
• At least 2 years of professional experience at reception, ideally in city hotels or upscale hospitality.
• Strong guest orientation, high social competence and a polished, confident appearance.
• Organisational skills and personal responsibility – you keep an overview even in hectic moments.

Aufgaben

• Welcoming, attending to and bidding farewell to our guests with professionalism and natural friendliness
• Ensuring smooth operations at the front office including check-in/check-out
• Coordination with other departments such as housekeeping, service and technical support
• Supporting and taking on administrative tasks
• Co-responsibility for quality assurance in guest service
• Training and onboarding new team members
• Contributing ideas to further develop our service culture
