Job summary

HUUS is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to oversee morning and evening shifts across our Swiss properties. The role focuses on delivering a personal, professional guest experience, while ensuring smooth daily operations and VIP handling.

The ideal candidate will have 5-star hotel experience, strong organizational skills, and fluency in German and English, with additional languages considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience as Front Office Supervisor in a 5-star hotel.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work service-oriented.
• Fluent in German and English, additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the smooth running of the early and late shifts and the operational front office management.
• Active care of guests throughout their stay and ensuring a personal and professional guest experience.
• Look after VIP, regular and demanding guests and handle and follow up on individual concerns and complaints.
• Identify and solve challenges in daily operations and support the team as needed.
• Train new employees and interns and coordinate team training sessions to improve service quality.
• Ensure professional communication and collaboration between front office, guest relations and hotel departments.
• Document guest information, complaints and special requests in the PMS and pass on relevant information.
• Support the Front Office & Guest Relations Manager and take over departmental responsibility in their absence.
• Replace the night auditor as needed, taking over the night shift and performing the daily closing.
