Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Geneva is seeking a Floor Supervisor for the Housekeeping Team. The role reports to the Head Housekeeper and focuses on maintaining exemplary cleanliness and hospitality standards in a 5-star luxury environment along the Rhône banks.

Ideal candidates bring housekeeping experience, strong communication, and a proactive, adaptable attitude. Swiss work authorization is required and a commitment to exceptional guest service is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid Swiss work permit or European passport.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness standards.
• Distribute and control keys.
• Handle lost property.
• Respond promptly to customer requests.
• Ensure safety by keeping corridors and offices tidy and clear for emergency exits.
• Report suspicious behavior or objects to management.
• Participate in training of new subordinates and ongoing training.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions and plan workload.
• Organize the work of subordinates.
• Welcome and serve guests according to 5-star hospitality standards and Mandarin Oriental expectations.
• Address customer complaints per LQE procedure and refer to management.
• Apply and uphold Mandarin Oriental commitments.
