Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern is seeking a Fine Dining Service Trainee for Colonnade, our two Michelin-starred restaurant, to begin March 2027. Learn to deliver personalized service in a luxury setting with a focus on menu knowledge, wine pairings, and flawless service.

You will work closely with kitchen and service teams, support mise en place, and maintain the highest hospitality standards. English fluency is required; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Deliver exceptional and personalized service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience at all times.
• Assist with the preparation, setup, and mise-en-place of the restaurant before service.
• Welcome and escort guests, present menus, and provide knowledge of menu items, seasonal specialties, and beverages.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly and professionally to requests.
• Support the team in serving food and beverages to Michelin standards.
• Maintain knowledge of food, wine, and beverages to advise guests.
• Ensure tables are impeccably presented and maintained throughout dining.
• Handle guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism and escalate when needed.
• Follow hygiene, safety and food-handling standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams for flawless service.
