Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern seeks a Fine Dining Service Trainee for Colonnade, our two Michelin‑starred restaurant. Based at the palace, you will deliver personalized luxury service, learn menu details and wine pairings, and support a high‑caliber team in a fast‑paced, three‑meal dining environment.

You will engage guests with poise, maintain impeccable standards, and collaborate with kitchen and service colleagues to ensure flawless service. English fluency is required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Fluency in English is required.
• German language skills are highly desirable, additional languages are an advantage.
• Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.

Aufgaben

• Deliver exceptional and personalized service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Assist with preparation, mise-en-place, and setup of the restaurant before service.
• Welcome and escort guests, present menus, and provide detailed knowledge of menu items and pairings.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly and professionally to requests.
• Support the team in serving food and beverages to the highest fine dining standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of food, wine, and beverages offered.
• Ensure tables are impeccably presented and maintained throughout service.
• Handle guest inquiries and feedback professionally; escalate when necessary.
• Follow hygiene, health, safety, and food handling standards per company policy.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and service teams for flawless execution.
