Job summary

Avacone is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain secure, resilient enterprise networks across data centres, cloud environments, and campus sites. You will develop standards, reference architectures and documentation to support operations and project delivery.

The role requires deep Cisco technology expertise, strong routing/switching, and experience with security, VPNs, and remote access.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Six to ten years of relevant enterprise networking experience.
Experience with data centre, cloud, and campus network environments.
Ability to document solutions and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise network solutions with security and resilience.
Configure and maintain routing, switching, and connectivity services.
Implement network segmentation and secure access controls.
Manage network operations, incidents, changes and upgrades.
Contribute to automation and IaC initiatives for provisioning and config management.
Provide guidance for projects and cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity groups.
