Avacone is seeking a Database Administrator to design, implement, and maintain enterprise database platforms across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid setups. You will ensure availability, performance, security, and resilience while guiding architecture and automation efforts.

The role requires strong experience with relational databases, SQL, and cloud-native deployments, along with collaboration across engineering and security teams. A focus on DevOps practices and IaC will be beneficial.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience or demonstrable expertise.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

Responsabilidades

• Advise on database design, architecture and technology selection.
• Administer relational and cloud-native database platforms.
• Install, configure, upgrade and maintain database environments.
• Monitor database performance, capacity, availability and utilisation.
• Implement backup, recovery, replication and high-availability solutions.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
