Avacone is seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer to operate, secure, and continuously improve its Microsoft 365 environment. You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver reliable collaboration and productivity services.

The role offers opportunities across service administration, automation, security, and workplace modernisation, with scope for migrations and rollout of new 365 capabilities. Strong English and documentation skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
• Working knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, authentication, and access management.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing and user lifecycle management.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and administrative automation.
• Understanding of security fundamentals, MFA, least privilege, and data protection.
• Familiarity with DNS, SMTP, and TLS.
• Structured troubleshooting approach and service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English, including technical documentation.

Aufgaben

• Administer and optimise Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Manage user identities, groups, licences, and access in collaboration with identity and security teams.
• Support identity integration with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, including hybrid environments where applicable.
• Maintain mail flow, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, and email security configurations.
• Configure and support collaboration services, external sharing, and guest access.
• Implement and maintain security and compliance policies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor service health, troubleshoot incidents, and coordinate escalations with Microsoft support.
• Automate administrative tasks and reporting using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
• Contribute to migrations, service enhancements, and the rollout of new Microsoft 365 capabilities.
• Assess service changes and coordinate testing, communication, and implementation.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and configuration standards.
• Support service desk teams and promote effective adoption of Microsoft 365 services.
