Avacone is seeking a Linux Engineer to design, implement, secure and support enterprise Linux platforms. You will contribute to reliability, automation, lifecycle management and infrastructure modernisation across teams.

Key duties include building Linux servers, applying security baselines, automating provisioning, and supporting CI/CD and container platforms. Collaboration with app, network and cloud teams is essential.

Qualificações

• Strong hands-on experience administering enterprise Linux environments, particularly Red Hat.
• Experience with shell scripting and automation.
• Understanding of networking, storage, authentication and system security.
• Familiarity with virtualization, cloud platforms and container technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Build, configure and maintain enterprise Linux servers and platforms.
• Manage OS upgrades, patching, hardening and lifecycle activities.
• Develop scripts and automation to improve provisioning and operational efficiency.
• Support containerised platforms and Kubernetes-based services where required.
• Monitor system performance, availability, capacity and security events.
• Participate in incident, problem and change management processes.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
