Job summary

RUAG AG in Switzerland seeks a security-focused infrastructure engineer to design, implement, and operate secure, automated private cloud infrastructure. You will build Linux systems and Kubernetes environments, deploy SIEM solutions, and support incident response while continuously enhancing detection capabilities.

You will automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible, integrate security into CI/CD, and strengthen hardening and vulnerability management across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems and infrastructure engineering.
• Experience in security monitoring, threat detection, SIEM or incident response.
• Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with infrastructure security, vulnerability management and system hardening.
• Analytical mindset and structured problem-solving.
