Job summary

RUAG is seeking a seasoned leader to head the Engineering division in Switzerland. You will guide day-to-day operations, shape product and service development, and collaborate with other departments to win new business with solid cost calculations.

You will ensure delivery deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met, plan resources, and uphold safety and quality policies while driving Business Excellence and CIP across the division.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience: managing a division with operational leadership and objective implementation.
• Technology & industry expertise: sensor tech, reconnaissance systems; radar systems a plus; familiarity with Swiss defence/security sector.
• Financial management: cost centre responsibility and financial management experience.
• Communication skills: strong negotiation with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Languages: excellent German and English; French an advantage.
• Education: degree in engineering, information and communication technology, or equivalent qualification.
