Job summary

RUAG AG in Bern seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement and operate secure on-premise private cloud infrastructure and open-source collaboration services, including email and file sharing.

You will build CI/CD pipelines, manage Docker and Kubernetes, integrate LDAP/OIDC, and automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible. A strong Linux/Open-Source background and Swiss citizenship are required; flexible hours and home-office options are offered to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on Linux and open-source infrastructure experience.
• Experience with self-hosted email, groupware, or collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, IMAP, HTTP, TLS.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automation/CI/CD scripting with Terraform, Ansible, Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with LDAP/OIDC/SAML is an advantage.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Swiss citizenship is required.

What you should bring with you
