Job summary

RUAG invites applications for a DevOps Engineer C5I to design, implement, and operate secure and automated infrastructure in an on-premise private cloud. You will build Linux systems and Kubernetes environments, deploy SIEM-based security monitoring, and support incident response.

Automation with Terraform and Ansible will be key, along with CI/CD security integration. Strong Linux, networking, and security hardening experience are essential, as is knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and scripting in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/IT/Cybersecurity.
• Strong hands-on Linux systems and infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience in security monitoring, threat detection, SIEM or incident response.
• Good networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Python or Bash automation.
• Security-focused with system hardening and vulnerability management.
• Swiss citizenship required.

DevOps Engineer C5I

• Design, implement and operate secure and highly automated infrastructure in an on-premise private cloud

What you should bring with you
