Job summary

Ramsey Portia Ltd. seeks an accomplished Head of Operations/COO to lead the relocation to Switzerland (Zurich/Zug) and assume responsibility for all business and investment operations from Switzerland. The role is to be a named member of the executive management, subject to regulatory approval.

The position reports to the Founder & CIO and acts as the true number two, overseeing operations, regulatory, legal, risk, finance, IT, HR, and governance to support growth and investor reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years' experience in asset management or COO role.
• FINMA fit and proper requirements; FCA Senior Management experience advantageous.
• Swiss regulatory framework knowledge; relocation experience a plus.
• Existing right to work in Switzerland; willing to relocate to Zurich area.
• Strong analytical skills and high ethical standards.
• Proficient with OMS/PMS systems (Enfusion) and Excel; some programming a plus.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the firm’s business and investment operations, reporting to the Founder & CIO.
• Lead relocation to Switzerland: establishing the Swiss entity, licensing, FINMA/FCA engagement, and transitioning the UK business.
• Oversight of trade execution across equities, FX and derivatives.
• Oversight of risk management and compliance, with external consultants; outsourcing in year one.
• Finance oversight: budgeting, accounting, audit and tax with external providers.
• Selection and oversight of outsourced providers (IT, cyber security, accounting, website, distribution).
• Governance, HR and general management; support investor due diligence and reporting.
