Qualifikationen

• Hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with boot processes and network protocols.
• Familiar with data center hardware and environments.
• TCP/IP and basic Layer2/Layer3 troubleshooting.
• Copper/Optical network cabling and hardware awareness.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Physical capability to lift and install equipment per SOPs.
• Role requires 24x7 shift coverage and strict safety guidelines.

Aufgaben

• Maintain a high level of system reliability by prioritizing and resolving trouble tickets efficiently.
• Escalation point and technical troubleshooter for all Systems and Network hardware problems.
• Escalating to senior technicians and management as needed/required.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on various platforms ranging from Systems through Networking.
• Remediation of physical layer outages, both Systems & Network.
• Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center.
• Meet 24x7 On-Call requirements and response during shift rotations.
• Install & configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs.
• Triage & resolve trouble tickets for all devices in your region.
• Data Center point of contact for all High Severity issues.
• Physical replacement of server and network device parts.
• Interact with third party vendors & contractors.
• Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency.
• Engage with Remote Hands & Eyes.
• Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and project status updates.
• Help build the world’s largest Cloud infrastructure.
