Amazon Data Services Switzerland GmbH is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician in Switzerland. You will independently troubleshoot and maintain electrical and mechanical systems within a large-scale data center infrastructure, responding to operational issues with a proactive, process-driven approach.

In this hands-on role, you’ll manage on-site contractors, support rack installation, Power and cooling provisioning, and work with Infra Ops teams to ensure uptime.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with electrical or mechanical systems
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure including mechanical, electrical, controls and life safety
• Reading technical documentation & drawings
• Computer literacy with Windows and common business applications
• Fluency in English
• Valid Swiss work permit required
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, controls) or electrical theory

Aufgaben

• On-site management of contractors and vendors in line with procedures and local laws
• Maintain performance benchmarks and prepare reports on critical facility operations
• Manage Change Management requests and Incident tickets as directed
• Assist with rack installation and provisioning of power and cooling
• Support with routine maintenance and emergency services on critical systems
• Participate in the build-out of new facilities and asset management
