Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician in Zurich, Switzerland, to support core infrastructure at a world-class data center facility. This full-time, on-site role requires hands-on experience with servers, cabling, and DC operations, plus the ability to work in a demanding environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in data center operations, strong troubleshooting, and familiarity with DCIM platforms, power distribution, and UPS systems; vendor certs (Dell, HPE, Cisco) are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Experience with rack and stack operations.
• Understanding of power distribution and UPS systems.
• Data center certifications (CDCP/CDCS/CDCE) - preferred.

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting; maintain documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.

Work Schedule

• Full-time permanent position
• Standard business hours with on-call rotation
• Shift differentials for nights/weekends when applicable

Key Responsibilities
