Zusammenfassung

STACK Infrastructure in Zürich is seeking a Critical Operations Technician to join the local team and ensure the data centre runs smoothly 24/7 with no downtime of critical services.

You will perform maintenance on all mechanical and electrical equipment, monitor alarms, and support ongoing drills and training while aligning with safety and quality standards. A trade certificate in Electrical/Mechanical is preferred, along with strong IT and document management skills.

Qualifikationen

• Preferably possession of a trade certificate and/or vocational education degree within Electrical or Mechanical discipline or equivalent.
• Preferably experienced with electrical or mechanical systems in a data centre or critical environment.
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance fundamentals and ability to work autonomously or in a team.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and willingness to learn in a demanding environment.
• Good written and verbal skills in English and local language.

Aufgaben

• Perform operational, preventive, and corrective maintenance on all mechanical and electrical equipment as assigned.
• Conduct daily and weekly routine inspections on critical equipment, rooms, and systems, ensuring quality and efficiency standards.
• Monitor, respond to, and act on alarms from Building Management Systems (BMS) and other monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, interpreting diagrams and schematics to detect, repair, and report faults.
• Carry out isolation and reinstatement of electrical, cooling, fire alarm, and gas suppression systems when required.
• Manage and react to emergency situations involving critical equipment, escalating incidents per procedures.
