Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electronics, or related field.
• 2+ years of data center or field support experience.
• Knowledge of server hardware, storage, network cabling, and patch panels.
• Familiar with remote management tools (iDRAC/iLO/IPMI).
• Good communication and ability to work in a team; physically demanding environment.
• Willingness to work shifts and be on-call.

Aufgaben

• Rack and install servers, switches, routers, and IT equipment.
• Perform power cycling and basic hardware diagnostics.
• Install/upgrade components like drives and RAM; firmware updates.
• Decommission and remove old hardware as needed.
• Install and patch Ethernet and fiber cables; test network connectivity.
• Serve as on-site technician for remote IT teams; report status and faults.
• Manage backup tape loading and resolve media issues.
• Coordinate with vendors; conduct site surveys for power, cooling, and cabling.
• Maintain asset inventory; update rack layouts and diagrams.
