STACK Infrastructure EMEA is seeking a Critical Operations Technician to join the local Critical Operations Team for a Zürich-area data center. You will perform maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, monitor alarms, and troubleshoot complex systems across a 24/7 shift schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Trade certificate or vocational education in Electrical or Mechanical discipline or equivalent.
• Experience with electrical or mechanical systems in a data center or critical environment preferred.
• Strong maintenance knowledge and ability to perform complex tasks with autonomy.
• Ability to work alone or in a team and learn new skills quickly.
• Good written and verbal English; local language skills are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Perform operational, preventive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with quality and efficiency standards.
• Monitor alarms from BMS/EPMS and respond appropriately.
• Troubleshoot systems using diagrams and schematics; report faults.
• Isolate and reinstate electrical, cooling, fire alarm, and gas systems as needed.
• Manage emergencies and escalate incidents per procedures.
• Ensure plant equipment operates efficiently and in compliance with best practices.
• Keep logs in the Facility Management System and handle vendor reports.
• Support technical quotations and execution of projects; maintain documentation storage.
• Participate in ongoing training and handover information within the team.
