Job summary

Café des Négociants in Carouge, one of the oldest bistros in Old Carouge, is seeking an Experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team.

Requirements include a Swiss Federal Certificate of Capacity as a cook or equivalent, 1–3 years in a similar role, ability to work under pressure, autonomy, and solid HACCP knowledge. We offer a permanent contract, 100% position, 5 weeks of holiday, start date January 2027, and Sundays closed.

Qualifications

• Swiss Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as a cook or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years in a similar position.
• Ability to act under pressure while remaining pleasant.
• Good knowledge of HACCP

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Work autonomously in daily kitchen operations and maintain organization.
• Ensure hygiene and HACCP compliance at all times.
