Lonza Visp in Switzerland seeks an experienced MES engineer to design, implement and validate MES recipes and DeltaV control strategies supporting compliant biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Qualifikationen

• Experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
• Strong MES knowledge, ideally Werum PAS-X or similar platforms.
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV or other distributed control systems.
• Understanding of GMP regulations and computerized system validation.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement solutions.
• Excellent communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and validate MES recipes and DeltaV control strategies for compliant manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Development, Automation, Engineering and Quality teams for seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot MES/DeltaV issues to minimize production disruptions and ensure reliable operations.
• Maintain technical documentation, specifications, work instructions, and validation records per GMP.
• Train end users and provide ongoing system guidance and expertise.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimize manufacturing processes and automation strategies.
