Lonza Visp, Switzerland is seeking an Automation Engineer MES/DeltaV to design, implement, and validate MES recipes and DeltaV control strategies for robust biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

You will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Process Development, Automation, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure seamless system integration, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence on site.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
• Strong MES knowledge, ideally Werum PAS-X or Rockwell PharmaSuite.
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV or other distributed control systems.
• Understanding of GMP, CSV and qualification activities in regulated industries.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Degree in a related engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and validate MES recipes and DeltaV control strategies.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Development, Automation, Engineering and Quality teams.
• Troubleshoot MES and DeltaV issues to minimize production disruptions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and validation records per GMP.
• Train end users and provide ongoing system support.
• Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and automation.
• Support new technologies and digital manufacturing initiatives.
