Lonza Group AG in Visp is seeking a DeltaV Automation Engineer or Electrical Instrumentation & Control Engineer (m/f/d) to join a dynamic, cutting-edge environment shaping the future of medicine.

You will plan MSR readiness, ensure reliable operation of highly automated biologics facilities, and manage GMP-compliant activities with systems like Kneat and Ubik. Strong SAP/COMOS/DeltaV/MES experience is highly desired.

Qualifikationen

• Equivalent experience in Electrical or System Engineering or related field.
• University degree or equivalent, or vocational education (EFZ, FH, HF, BSc.)
• Proficiency with SAP, COMOS, DeltaV and MES Syncade is desirable
• Fluent in English and/or German
• Familiarity with GMP standards and protocols
• Self-reliant, trustworthy working approach

• Plan and realize electrical MSR readiness within budget and timelines.
• Ensure seamless operation of high-automated biologics facilities with DeltaV and MES.
• Manage GMP-compliant activities including testing, documentation, and change management (Kneat/ Ubik).
• Prepare and update plant documentation in SAP/COMOS for regulatory compliance.
• Implement continuous improvements in equipment and maintenance, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you will do:

• Planning and realization of electrical MSR readiness (maintenance, changeovers, improvements) within the available budget and timelines
• Ensuring seamless operation and flawless performance of high-automated Biologics facilities equipped with DeltaV and MES systems. Equivalent experience is also acceptable for educational requirements like MES
• Managing GMP-compliant activities, including testing, documentation, and change management using systems such as Kneat and Ubik
• Preparing and updating plant documentation in SAP/COMOS to ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards
• Determining and implementing continuous improvements in equipment and maintenance processes to improve efficiency and reliabilityCollaborating with cross-functional teams to refine internal procedures and achieve optimized workflows

What we are looking for:

• Equivalent experience in Electrical or System Engineering or a related field, including University Degree or equivalent experience, or vocational education (EFZ, FH, HF, BSc.)
• Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of pharmaceutical plants or the biotech industry
• Proficiency in SAP, COMOS (Plant Engineering Software), DeltaV (Process Control System), and MES Syncade (Manufacturing Execution System) is highly desirable
• Proficient in English and/or German to competently communicate in our diverse, collaborative environment
• Familiarity with GMP standards and protocols to ensure compliance in a regulated manufacturing setting
• A self-reliant, trustworthy, and effective working approach that ensures successful completion of tasks and projects
