Job summary

Connect44 Sarl seeks a customer-oriented Digital Power CSE fluent in French and German to provide technical support for photovoltaic inverters, battery storage systems, and related products. You will analyze issues, manage cases, and collaborate with engineering, service, and sales teams to ensure rapid resolutions.

The ideal candidate holds an electrical engineering or related technical degree, and is comfortable traveling to customer sites for troubleshooting and training.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Experience or strong interest in photovoltaic systems, inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS), or power electronics.
• Good understanding of electrical systems and basic networking/IT concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to troubleshooting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating with customers via phone and email in a professional manner.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an international team.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite technical support.
• Fluent in English and German; French is considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for photovoltaic inverters, battery energy storage systems, and related products.
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues remotely via phone, email, and online support tools.
• Register, prioritize, and manage support cases in the ticketing system.
• Identify root causes and deliver effective solutions within agreed service levels.
• Escalate complex technical issues to specialist teams when required and coordinate the resolution process.
• Guide customers and installers during commissioning, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with internal engineering, service, and sales teams to ensure efficient issue resolution.
• Support continuous improvement by sharing technical knowledge and identifying recurring issues.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites for troubleshooting, commissioning support, or technical training.
