Zusammenfassung

Randstad Group on behalf of an international pharma client in Lucerne is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist, Distribution. The role focuses on coordinating shipments, export/import documentation, and ensuring GDP/compliance standards within a hybrid work setup.

The position requires 3–5 years in trade compliance or logistics in pharma, strong English skills, and the ability to collaborate across site teams. 100% capacity with a temporary contract and potential extension.

Qualifikationen

  • 3–5 years of experience in trade compliance, logistics or pharma operations.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain and logistics is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of English, written and spoken at all levels.

Aufgaben

  • Initiate and coordinate all material shipments for Schachen Biotech (drug substances, samples, PCC materials).
  • Coordinate distribution activities with internal and external stakeholders (export/import, manufacturing, planning, receiving site).
  • Prepare shipping documents for export/import per Global Trade Compliance and GDP standards.
  • Ensure compliance with import requirements and distribution licenses.
  • Be the main point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders on distribution topics.
  • Contribute to a standardized shipping technology platform and qualify local shipping tech.
  • Oversee local drug substance/intermediate inventory and storage capacity, forecasting and cycle counting.
  • Coordinate material movements between internal and external storage and vice versa.
  • Coordinate and execute material movements for on-site cold chain per maintenance plans.
  • Support GMP documentation (memos, SOPs, work instructions).
  • Support quality/compliance issues through supplier change notifications, investigations and change controls.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to create and deliver site value.
  • Propose and plan improvements with deliverables and timelines.

On behalf of our Client, an international pharma company based in canton Lucerne, we are looking for anAssociate Supply Chain Specialist, Distribution.

In this role, you willwork closely with above site supply chain team, local quality, tech transfer, project planning teams, import/export department and manufacturing operations as well as other self-directed work teams in the site’s value stream.

  • Workload: 100%
  • Home office: possible, hybrid role

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and coordinate of all material shipments for Schachen Biotech (drug substance, process intermediate samples, PCC materials, etc.).
  • Distribution activities are aligned in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. export/Import departments, manufacturing operations, project planning teams, receiving site).
  • Prepare shipping documents for export and import to the destination country in accordance with the Global Trade Compliance Standard and Good Distribution Practices (packing lists, dangerous goods declaration, issuing Certificates of Origin, entries in GTAS, price establishment for customs, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with country-specific import requirements, qualification of supply lane and availability of import / distribution license.
  • Serve as the main point of contact and advisor for both internal teams and external stakeholders, providing guidance and support for distribution topics.
  • Contribute to a standardized shipping technology platform. Support local shipping technology qualifications.
  • Oversight of local drug substance / process intermediate samples inventory and storage capacity (annual capacity / occupancy forecast, cycle counting, disposal requests, etc.).
  • Coordinate material movements from internal to external storage and vice versa.
  • Coordinate and execute material movements for on site cold chain material in accordance with the utility maintenance plan.
  • Support the supply chain team with GMP documentation (memos, SOPs, work instructions, etc)
  • Support supply chain team on quality and compliance related issues through supplier change notifications, investigations, change controls, quality risk assessments etc.
  • Build an excellent relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure value is created and delivered for the site.
  • Initiate and formulate proposals / business cases for improvement projects including deliverables and planning for the development and implementation of proposed improvements.

Your profile:

  • 3- 5 years experience within trade compliance, logistics or operations role within a pharmaceutical company.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain and logistics is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal – ability to work within all levels of the organisation from shopfloor staff to site leadership team.
  • Good influencing / collaboration skills and teamwork mindset.
  • Strong analytical and priority management skills.
  • Ability to execute small projects to agreed timelines.
  • Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills, ability to challenge the status quo with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Computer literate with advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage.
