For our client, a well knownpharmaceutical company in Kaiseraugst, we are looking for a Global Clinical Distribution Lead (m/f/d).
Background
We are looking for a Global Clinical Distribution Lead. You will join a global clinical distribution team with members in Switzerland, the US and Canada. In this role you manage end to end distribution for a portfolio of clinical trials, from technical release through importation and delivery to depots and clinical sites. Your work ensures that clinical trials run without delays and that patients receive their treatment on time.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage on time delivery of supply shipments across a global depot network in line with study requirements and patient demand
- Represent the distribution function in protocol execution teams, global supply execution teams and ad hoc meetings
- Resolve operational and system issues affecting delivery together with internal and external partners
- Plan and coordinate depot supply in close alignment with clinical demand and supply planning
- Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives in global distribution
- Process transactions in the clinical supply system with high accuracy and carry out first and second level diagnostics
- Work within a GMP compliant environment and follow established quality procedures
- Handle quality incidents, CAPAs and planned changes where applicable
Must Haves
- Degree in Business (Operations or Supply Chain Management), Biotechnology or a related fiel
- 3+ years of experience in clinical trial management, logistics, warehouse management or supply chain, ideally in biotech or pharm
- Strong knowledge of SAP or other ERP system
- Experience working in cross-functional, international and agile organisation
- Confident in influencing internal and external stakeholders and driving topics forward
- Able to solve problems independently and manage complex situations and competing priorities
- Curious and open to new ideas, with a focus on continuous improvemen
- Fluent English, good working knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace; experience with Veeva or clinical supply systems is an advantage
Nice to haves
- Training in Operational Excellence, Lean or Six Sigma as well as APICS or SCOR certification
