Flexsis is recruiting for Roche in Kaiseraugst to appoint a Clinical Network and Capability Manager. The role oversees the global distribution network and ensures timely, reliable delivery for Roche/Genentech clinical trials, working with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners.

You will drive network strategy, manage distribution costs (>CHF 50m/yr), and ensure compliance with GxP and GCP standards while fostering continuous improvements and a self-managed team culture.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in a technical, business or supply chain field; certifications are a plus.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end supply chain, including warehouse, transportation, logistics, and clinical trial regulatory requirements.
• Extensive experience in clinical supply chain distribution and supplier relationship management.

• Develop and execute the network and capabilities strategy with focus on readiness and SRM.

• Lead global network initiatives and foster a self-managed organizational culture.

Clinical Network and Capability Manager

• Start Date: ASAP
• Latest Possible Start Date: 01.01.2027
• Planned Duration of Employment: 12 month
• Extension: expected extension for another 6-12 months depending on the situation
• Home Office: Hybrid. 3 days on site 2 days HO
• Travel: Yes this is possible, but it will be maybe up to 3-4 trips a year max.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for overseeing and optimizing the distribution network (>100k shipments per year) to enable timely, reliable and efficient delivery for all global Roche/Genentech clinical trials. Therefore you partner closely with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality), customers (Clinical Operations) and external partners (3PLs, LSPs, etc.)
• You contribute and execute the network & capabilities chapter strategy, aligning with the overall distribution strategy. This incl. future network and capability readiness, build up of new locations, and a strong emphasis on Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
• You oversee, manage and optimize distribution costs and spend (>50m CHF/year).
• You drive best practices, standardization, and optimization of distribution network processes in collaboration with Business Capability Leads (BCLs), QA ensuring supply chain reliability.
• You co-create and execute objectives for the global network & capabilities chapter, enabling continuous improvements and cultural transition towards a self-managed team and organization.
• You ensure the overall compliance of the distribution network according to GxP and GCP standards.

Must Haves:

• You hold a degree (BA, MS, MBA) in a technical, business, or supply chain field or possess relevant experience; certifications like APICS, SCOR, Operational Excellence, Six Sigma, or Lean training are a plus.
• You have a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain management, including warehouse and transportation management, logistics, and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
• You possess excellent knowledge of clinical supply chain distribution processes, Supplier Relationship management incl. negotiations & industry best practices, and the tools and systems needed to enable operational excellence.
• You have (min. 6 years) 10+ years of operational experience in supply chain, distribution, planning, and/or manufacturing, with significant expertise in clinical supply chain (distribution) management.
