Job summary

Fusalp Verbier seeks an experienced Assistant Store Manager to lead on the sales floor, delivering premium client experiences while driving boutique KPIs and supporting the team. The role includes regular mobility across Switzerland to reinforce operations and ensure business continuity, with a 42-hour week and a permanent contract.

Based in Verbier, you will collaborate with the Store Manager on daily activities, stock, deliveries and merchandising, ensuring high standards and excellent service

Qualifications

• Solid experience in premium or luxury retail with client-facing and commercial responsibilities.
• Experience supervising or supporting a retail team.
• Strong clienteling, sales targets and KPI understanding.
• Ability to take ownership, make decisions and support the Store Manager daily.
• Hands-on mindset; comfortable selling and handling operations.
• French and English required.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Swiss boutiques.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our Verbier boutique on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can combine premium client experience, commercial performance and strong day-to-day support for the boutique team.

While Verbier will be your home boutique, the role also includes regular mobility across our Swiss boutiques when needed to support replacements, reinforcement and business continuity.

You will:

• Lead by example on the sales floor and deliver an exceptional, personalised client experience.
• Drive sales, clienteling and boutique KPIs, turning performance indicators into concrete actions.
• Support the Store Manager in organising daily activity, setting priorities and maintaining strong operational standards.
• Coach and support the team through regular feedback, product knowledge and hands-on guidance.
• Take ownership of the boutique when required, including opening and closing procedures and day-to-day decision-making.
• Ensure Fusalp’s visual merchandising and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
• Work alongside the team on stock, deliveries, replenishment, inventories and all daily boutique operations.
• Provide operational support across other Fusalp boutiques in Switzerland when business needs require it.

What will help you succeed

We are looking for someone who can become operational quickly, bring strong luxury retail expertise and lead from the floor with energy, judgement and a genuine sense of service.

Must-have

• Solid experience in premium or luxury retail, with strong client-facing and commercial responsibilities.
• Previous experience supervising, coaching or supporting a retail team.
• Strong understanding of clienteling, sales targets and retail KPIs.
• Confidence to take ownership, make decisions and support the Store Manager in the daily leadership of the boutique.
• A hands-on mindset: you are as comfortable selling to clients as you are supporting operations and the team.
• French and English is required.
• Flexibility to travel regularly between Fusalp boutiques in Switzerland according to operational needs.

Nice-to-have

• German, Italian or any additional language relevant to our international clientele.
• Experience in luxury fashion, ski, outdoor or performance apparel.
• Previous Assistant Store Manager or senior supervisory experience in a luxury House.

What you’ll love working here

Permanent 100% contract from 1 December 2026 (42 hours per week).

CHF 5,500 gross per month, paid over 12 months, plus ASM bonus.
