Are you a forward-thinking learning leader who is passionate about building something exceptional from the ground up? McInnes Cooper is seeking a Senior Manager, Learning & Development to design and lead a firm-wide learning and development strategy that strengthens skills and capabilities, accelerates professional growth, and supports the firm’s evolving business objectives. Reporting to the Managing Director, People & Culture, this is a high-impact role that will shape the future of learning and development across one of Atlantic Canada’s most respected law firms.
As the Senior Manager, Learning & Development, you will develop and implement a long-term strategy that embeds continuous learning and professional development into the firm’s culture. You will work closely with firm leaders and practice coaches to design engaging, inclusive, and results-driven programs that support all stages of professional development, from onboarding to leadership excellence. You will bring clarity and structure to the firm’s learning ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business priorities and consistency across all offices. With a keen eye for innovation, you will leverage technology, data, and best practices to deliver high-quality learning experiences that drive measurable impact.
This role offers the opportunity to influence change at a strategic level while remaining hands-on in program design and delivery. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in adult learning and development, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across a matrixed, multi-office environment. You are a confident facilitator and coach, capable of engaging senior leaders and teams alike, with a proven track record of creating learning programs that deliver tangible business outcomes.
