A restaurant management company in Yellowknife is seeking a skilled assistant manager. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, handling customer complaints, supervising staff, and ensuring quality food service. Candidates should have at least 7 months of experience and possess a secondary school credential. Strong English skills and a focus on customer and team satisfaction are essential.
To effectively assist in managing the operations of a restaurant on a day-to-day basis, within the policies and guidelines of the company, ensuring customer satisfaction, team member satisfaction / retention and profit maximization.
Establish methods and procedures to meet work schedules.
Handle and address customer's complaints and concerns
Prepare, maintain, and submit reports of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage. Establishes effective and positive communication amongst all team members. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
Train staff in job duties and to follow sanitation & safety procedures.
Estimate and order supplies and ingredients which are required.
Ensure that food service meets standards of quality control.
Plan menus and determine related food and costs.
Ensures all cash handling procedures are upheld.
