Position Summary:

The Maintenance Electrician, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, minimizing downtime, managing equipment startup and shutdown, and troubleshooting issues.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to all company safety policies
2. Maintain and upkeep plant equipment and facilities
3. Troubleshoot and repair all plant equipment
4. Complete assigned work in a timely manner
5. Actively participate in the emergency response team
6. Work effectively both in a team and independently
7. Utilize analytical and troubleshooting skills
8. Use the onsite Preventative Maintenance EAM program with a provided tablet
9. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

1. Journeyperson Electrician ticket licensed in Alberta (required)
2. Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLC programming, and troubleshooting
3. Current knowledge of and adherence to the Canadian Electrical Code
4. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance

Preferred Experience:

1. Industrial electrical equipment installation and troubleshooting
