A financial services company in Peel Region is looking for a Loan Officer to assist clients in achieving their financial goals. The role involves processing loan applications, networking, and providing exceptional client service. Candidates should have a college education and some related experience. This is a permanent position with 30 hours of work per week, offering a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- 7 months to less than 1 year experience in related field is preferred.
- Must have strong client-focused attitude and excellent communication skills.
Responsabilités
- Approve or reject applications for loans.
- Assist clients with financial goals and documentation.
- Network to promote and sell loan services.

Formation
- Education : College / CEGEP
- Experience : 7 months to less than 1 year
- Approve or reject applications, or recommend applications for approval or rejection
- Assist clients by proposing solutions to address financial objectives such as business expansion, debt management, investment and other financial goals
- Complete credit and loan documentation
- Interview applicants for loans
- Prepare statements on delinquent accounts
- Promote sale of credit and loan services
- Research and evaluate loan applicant's financial status, references, credit and ability to repay loan
- Review and update credit and loan files
- Submit credit and loan applications to management
- Network to develop business relations, promote the sale of loan, investment and other banking services and attract corporate and individual customers
