Tidal Marine is a Canadian-based portfolio of marine and industrial manufacturing businesses, including Tidal Marine, Go Deep International, and Tidal Ropes. Headquartered in New Brunswick with operations in Nanaimo, B.C., the organization designs, manufactures, and supplies engineered solutions for marine, aquaculture, oil & gas, and heavy industrial environments across Canada and internationally.

This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to build a modern marketing function from the ground up. Reporting to the Executive Management Team, the Marketing Manager will work closely with senior leadership, sales teams, and external partners to elevate brand presence, generate leads, and support continued growth across multiple technically driven businesses.

What you’ll be doing
  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across multiple brands to increase visibility, brand awareness, and inbound lead generation.
  • Manage and grow the company’s presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant digital channels.
  • Create and publish compelling content including case studies, project highlights, customer testimonials, and short-form video.
  • Plan and manage targeted online advertising campaigns using platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, and industry-specific channels.
  • Develop and maintain marketing collateral, ensuring consistent tone, visuals, and brand identity across all companies.
  • Write and edit polished, professional copy for websites, brochures, press releases, and promotional materials.
  • Oversee company websites in collaboration with external developers and agency partners.
  • Manage SEO strategy and performance to improve rankings, visibility, and web traffic.
  • Use analytics tools to track website performance, campaign effectiveness, and marketing ROI.
  • Build and manage lead generation initiatives including email campaigns, digital ads, and online forms, working closely with sales teams to track results.
  • Organize and coordinate tradeshows and industry events, including logistics, booth setup, and marketing materials.
  • Capture on-site content such as photos, videos, and testimonials at events and customer locations.
  • Leverage AI, automation, and modern marketing tools (e.g., Canva, ChatGPT, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics) to streamline workflows and improve effectiveness.
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends and recommend innovative approaches to strengthen marketing performance.
What we are looking for
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant marketing experience, ideally within B2B, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical products into compelling narratives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, digital advertising, analytics tools, and content creation platforms.
  • Experience producing short-form video content is considered an asset.
  • Comfort working across multiple brands and market segments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to British Columbia and across Atlantic Canada.
  • Prior exposure to marine, aquaculture, or industrial sectors is an asset but not required.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity, and a hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

At Venor and Tidal Marine, we embrace a culture of belonging in the workplace. We encourage all applications, with the understanding that we all come from different backgrounds and different walks of life, offering unique perspectives and experiences.
