Job summary
A maintenance services company in Fort St. John is seeking a skilled maintenance worker to perform adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include supervising other workers and performing various maintenance tasks. This is a permanent role requiring 40 hours of work per week.

- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience required.
Responsibilities
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to various systems.
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance.
- Perform safety and security checks.
- Supervise other workers.
- Perform routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain inventory of equipment.
Education
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
- Perform safety and security checks
- Supervise other workers
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
