FGA is currently seeking a Controls Engineer with specific Ford BIW Start-Up Experience with a passion for automation and a desire to advance their career. • Promote and comply with all safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Support electrical and software design as needed
• Optimize cycle times and improve throughput
• Maintain customer relationships
• Assist with electrical and software design when required
• Start-up, debug and troubleshooting of PLC Controls automation equipment at the Build Shop and customer\'s site
• Throughput enhancement at customer\'s site

• 2–5 years of experience as a Ford BIW Controls Start-Up Engineer
• Must Have experience with Ford standards (Next Gen / GVOSS)
• Bachelor\'s Degree in a related engineering or programming field
• Strong knowledge of PLCs and HMIs
• Preferred knowledge of automotive body shop systems
• Extensive commissioning experience
• Preferred hardware and software design capabilities
• Ability to travel to customer sites across North America and Canada
• Valid passport and driver’s license
• Eligibility for a TN Visa
