About the Role

We are looking for an Engagement & Growth Specialist with a passion for user engagement, retention, and transaction growth. This role focuses on understanding user behavior, optimizing campaigns, and ensuring users continue to find value in the platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce, a deep understanding of North American markets, and a track record of improving user retention through well-executed campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Vendor & Partner Management
    • Identify, onboard, and manage collaborations with influencers (e.g., TikTok creators, Instagram influencers, YouTube content creators) for paid campaigns.
    • Maintain long-term partnerships with key influencers by fostering trust and consistent engagement with the brand’s narrative.
    • Continuously monitor campaign effectiveness, analyze data, and optimize influencer collaborations to improve return on investment (ROI).
  2. Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
    • Design and implement integrated marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and lead acquisition across digital channels.
    • Execute campaigns with a focus on multiple marketing tactics, including search ads, social media ads, email marketing, and retargeting.
    • Monitor campaign performance metrics (e.g., click-through rates, conversion rates, traffic sources), proactively addressing any performance issues.
    • Implement marketing automation funnels (e.g., email nurturing, lead segmentation) to improve customer engagement and conversion rates.
  3. Content Creation & Communication
    • Craft compelling copy tailored for various platforms, including websites, social media, email, and paid media.
    • Continuously refine content strategies based on engagement metrics like impressions, shares, and comments.
  4. Strategic Planning & Brand Development
    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies.
    • Innovate with interactive marketing approaches, including social media challenges, events, and collaborative campaigns with partner brands.
  5. Data Analysis & Performance Optimization
    • Generate weekly and monthly reports analyzing key campaign metrics such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), and click-through rates (CTR).
    • Track and adjust marketing strategies using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user growth, website traffic, and sales conversions.
    • Utilize A/B testing and data-driven insights to validate content, ads, and targeting effectiveness to improve campaign ROI.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., product, tech) to align marketing activities with company objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or related roles, with a proven track record of driving scalable growth.
  • 2+ years of experience working at a startup focused on mobile apps, offering digital products or services directly to consumers (B2C).
  • Understands the negotiation process of influencer partnerships.
  • Expertise in managing acquisition campaigns across platforms like Rednote, TikTok, Google, Meta, and YouTube.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics, including CAC, LTV, retention rates, and ROAS.
  • Experience with marketing automation, A/B testing, and user funnel optimization.
  • Experience managing and optimizing budgets for acquisition and growth campaigns across multiple channels.
  • This is an in-person role! We feel most creative in a room together.

Other Qualifications

  • Proven ability to tailor marketing strategies to regional audiences in the U.S. and Canada, and drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention in the market.
  • Ability to quickly identify emerging trends and translate them into actionable marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences.
  • Familiarity with online communities and platforms such as Discord, Reddit, and Twitter (X), with an understanding of how to engage and grow user bases organically.
  • Experience creating or managing active community engagement strategies, including forums, social media groups.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Metabase) and familiarity with growth experimentation frameworks.
  • Experience working in the Fintech, e-commerce, or digital wallet industry, with a strong understanding of industry-specific growth strategies, regulations, and user behavior.
