Job summary
A renewable energy company seeks a skilled professional to monitor and coordinate the dispatch of renewable power facilities in Calgary. This role involves ensuring operational safety, troubleshooting system issues, and documenting all activities in adherence to strict guidelines. Candidates should have an engineering degree or diploma and experience in power generation, especially renewable energy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are key to success in this dynamic environment, which also requires flexibility in work hours.
Qualifications
- Experience working in power generation, preferably with renewable energy.
- Technical knowledge of renewable energy equipment operations.
- Ability to interpret schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Act as a single point of contact for dispatch of generation facilities.
- Monitor real-time performance of renewable fleet to optimize operations.
- Document operating events following company procedures.
- Coordinate normal and emergency activities with technicians and external entities.
